Woezel en Pip, Season 2
I recently discovered at about 10.000 meters above ground, you can view some Woezel en Pip episodes in the sky if you catch a KLM flight!
About half a year ago we finished working on the 2nd season. There's now a total of 26 episodes of 5 minutes. The 2nd DVD has been available for a while now.

Woezel en Pip
The past months I've been working on "Woezel en Pip". An animated series for little kids based on popular Dutch children's books by Guusje Nederhorst. Produced by il Luster and directed by Patrick Raats. It will be aired every schoolday, 3 times a day on Z@ppelin/Nederland3 and Nederland 1, starting tomorrow. It's being broadcasted in Belgium on VTM K-Zoom. The first DVD will be in stores in November. There's also going to be a screening next Friday on the Cinekid festival.

Een Spannende Dag voor Anna
Here is the final version of "Een Spannende Dag voor Anna", an animated film I made together with Joost Lieuwma and Patrick Schoenmaker. It was commissioned by an organization that takes care of children who can't live with their parents for a period of time.

Wrong/Right Bunnies
I've been doing some Wrong/Right illustrations about behaviour in an office. A company is using them to promote good behaviour. These 3 are all about the same subject, but others are about different matters.

Wiplala
I'm reading Wiplala again, I loved the books as a kid. And I just found out they're actually making a film out of it which will be coming out end of this year! I hope they'll do it good because the books are really nice. I'm not such a fan of the new illustrations but the old black and white ones were pretty!

Small 3D test
After seeing three movies with 3D glasses in Annecy; Coraline, The Nightmare before Christmas & Monsters VS Aliens. I got inspired to mess around with it myself. Here's just a little test I did today. Watch it with 3D anaglyph glasses or it won't work.

Super
Lately I've been animating on Johan Klungel's short film called 'Super'. It's about a man who goes to the supermarket and discovers there's more to the products for sale than meet the eye. It's a nice and funny film with a great visual style. The film is still in production but can probably be seen at festivals this year. Be sure to see it!

Click here for more info on the film.
In the past I've also animated on TV-bumpers for BNN: Dennis & Dylan for which Johan did the designs.

"De Grens"
This is an animation I did last year for Nationaal Comité 4 en 5 mei. It got shown on big screens on all 13 musicfestivals in Holland on the 5th of may 2008. The festivals are to celebrate the Dutch liberation of the nazi occupation and freedom. The movie "De Grens" (The Border) shows that freedom is something you create together.
(The idea and animation is mine, sound design is by Arhan Peek)
